Lisa Paul is one of the most innovative floral designers on
the Chicago scene. She uses vivid color in stunning natural
arrangements that look as if they sprang from a lush garden.
Her creations often include fresh accents of fruits, vegetables
and herbs - her unique signature -. Their shapes lend a striking
sculptural element to her designs.
Her monochromatic style is reminiscent of an artist's color
wheel. Lisa prides herself on the ability to be a chameleon;
what does the client want . . . whether it is contemporary,
traditional, romantic, whimsical or asian in style . . .
After 20 years of event planning and catering along with
10 years in the wine business . . . Lisa followed her passion
for art. Her recipe for this successful endeavor includes
studies at the Art Institute of Chicago, a degree in floral
design and her savvy business background in marketing and
public relations. She put this all together to debut her
business in 2003.
“I am still in agriculture,” Lisa says. “I just went from grapes to flowers. It all grows from the ground.”
Why the name color & company? “I love color and that’s what the company is all about -- living color!”
